Our Quality team, based in France, works tirelessly to ensure our toys meet stringent safety and quality standards. This team collaborates closely with our second Quality team located near our production sites, which oversees the inspection and control of products throughout the manufacturing process. All Janod toys carry the “CE” mark, indicating compliance with European laws and regulations.

Janod’s commitment to safety and quality extends to our selection of manufacturing partners and materials. Each toy undergoes rigorous testing at certified laboratories to ensure they meet and exceed current standards. We continually update our testing procedures in line with new regulations to guarantee that our products remain safe for children.

In our ongoing effort to be eco-friendly, Janod uses more FSC®-certified wood and cardboard in our toys. Our paints and varnishes, tested for safety and compliance, include water-based options preferred for early-learning toys designed for children under three. We also employ vegetable-based inks for printing most of our cardboard toys, which are recyclable, biodegradable, and safe for children.
